Baby Update 37 weeks

I went to the dr today for my 37 week check up. His heartbeat was strong and everything was great! He got me really excited when he told me they thought about moving my delivery date up but then he said they couldn't. The reason for moving up the date is because one of the doctors will be out of town that day. But with me having a boy they can't take him any earlier so he is going to bring in another doctor. So we are still having him on March 25Th! He seemed to be fine with my iron level and my feet swelling. I only have 10 working days left and 2 1/2 weeks left till he is here!! I can't wait! Plus I can't wait until the day before because me and Addy are having a girl day. We are going for pedicures and lunch. I know we will have a blast!!

It's starting to get real....

Oh my reality has really started to set in! I can't believe in just 24 days we will have another baby. I told myself Friday that I was going to stay home all weekend and rest but that didn't happen. Addy, my mom and myself went for a pedicure on saturday. It was so relaxing!! I could have set in that massage chair and let her rub my feet all day long. Until it was over. I looked over at my mom and said I can't feel my feet. My legs and feet stayed frozen for several hours. I have no circulation at all. We continuted to go eat and then to Wal Mart and still didn't get better. Finally about 4hours later I was pretty much back to normal. I am ready for the feet to go down, this swelling is no fun.

Then it is all getting to me that I will no longer have just one child to share my love with but two! I am wanting to spend every second that I have with Addy. I worry how she will feel about sharing mommy now. I know she will be fine but I still have to worry. She is so excited for him to hurry and be here. So trust me every chance I get we are doing something together.

For today my back pain is killing and so is everything else. I am so ready to go to the dr in the morning to see if we can move things up. I am a little worried that he is going to put me on bed rest. Please pray that he don't.

Also on Sunday Addy and Pops hit the golf course not to play golf but fly a kite!! They had a blast. I got to go to but I chose to stay in the golf cart because it was a little chilly out for me. this post was so randem and everywhere sorry !!

PBR-Arlington

This past weekend we went to the Cowboy Stadium in Arlington for the PBR! We went down Friday night to eat at Joe's Crab Shack. This is the first time I have had seafood since before I got pregnant. I always scared to eat it but the dr said it was ok to have crawfish. We got up the next morning so Miss Addy could swim. We actually stopped by the pool after breakfast and before changing into her swimsuit. Well she got it the hot tub anyway and took Nana in with her. Yes they were both in their pj's still. LOL We went out to the fan zone for a while, then grabbed a bite to eat at Hooter's. They have the best burgers!! Then I had to go back to work. The bull riding kicked off with Toby Keith in concert. He played for an hour and Addy slept through the whole concert! don't ask me how because it was so loud but she did. Once he was finished playing she was awake for the rest of the night. When I say the rest of the night I mean until 1:30 am!! Thank goodness she stayed with my parents in their room! Addy and her sweet baby Collier at Joe's!

Baby Shower

Last Saturday on the 12th I had 8 awesome woman give me a baby shower!! Everything turned out great and I got several wonderful gifts.The diaper cake was so cute! It matched his room just perfect!! Also the cookies were to die for. I don't think anyone there could stop eating them they were so good!!Of course the first person to get a gift was Big Sister. I got her a new stroller so she could carry her babies around.


Then it was time for mommy's gift. I got so many wonderful things that I can really use. The hostess got me a car seat!! My parents got me a sit-n-stand, a nap nanny and many other wonderful things. I love more getting diapers, wipes, lotions, etc because those are things I can really use.

The night before my parents came over to help me finish the room! I had no plans for it to look like this but now I am happy with it. thanks mom for helping getting it done and a little stress taking off of me. I for some reason was really stressing about his room being done before the shower.

Now we only a few more weeks to go and I am counting them down by the day. March 25th is the big day! I went back to the dr last Thursday and everything was great. Kiptyn had a very strong heartbeat. The dr could tell he was very active because the beat was extremly strong. We have scheduled the day for March 25th at 5:30am! Again thank you Ashlie, Rheagan, Katie, Leigh, Tammy, Pam, Geri Ann, & Sara for a wonderful baby shower!!

Father/Daughter Dance 2011

Friday night was the annual Father/Daughter Valentine Dance!! Addy has been looking fowarded to going since the dance last year. She requested she get her hair done so of course I said yes. She was so excited to get rollers, makeup, nails and lots of glitter!! She set as still as could be and was ready to be pampered.

She loved the makeup and thought she was all grown up! She would not put her nails down because they were still drying and had glitter on them.The finish product!! Look how grown up she looks. It breaks my heart because she is growing up so fast but she looked so beautiful that night.
She picked her own dress out because it was pink and had pearls on it. Her and daddy were looking so good when they left the house for a night of fun.

They met some friends for dinner and then headed to the dance.

She didn't even dance with daddy once they because she wanted to dance with all the girls. Below one her best friends Ava and her were breaking it down. I love this picture so much.

She said she loved dancing on the floor. She must have got these moves from her daddy!


What a blast she was having. The dance was over at 10pm and they didn't leave until it was over. She loves to dance and never stops.

How cute is this? I would really love to know what these girls are talking about.

They all had a great night and still talking about it today. I know Miss Addy is ready for next years dance. I love how they have this each year because it is such a fun night with Addy & daddy to spend together.

2nd Snow Day

On February 3rd we spent the night with my parents because Jeremy was out of town in Ft Worth working. We knew it might snow a little and school might start late but that was fine. I got a text a little after 5am saying that school was canceled. I thought really why I better look outside. Wow I could not believe what I was seeing. You could not even see the streets, curbs or anything. It was more snow I think then we got the last time. We ended up getting 7 inches in all. Unfortunately we had to drive home in the mess. We could not even make it up one small hill leaving my parents due to the ice. We did make it home safe and stayed in all day!!Luckily Pops came over to play in the snow a little. I'm not much on cold weather and being 9 months pregnant I don't need to take the chance of falling outside.After her and Pops played for a little while, built a snow wall (because the snow would not stick to well yet to build a snowman like she wanted) they gathered snow and we made snow ice cream. It was so yummy that Miss Addy didn't want to share any with mommy!!

I just can't get over how much snow we have got 2011 because I never remember it doing this when I was little.

We also had another snow/ice day on the 9th but I didn't get any pics because we are all over the snow and ice. We are ready for it to warm up and be spring time. We got to stay home another day which was really nice for us! Me and Addy had a girl day of making cake balls.

Baby Update & Ft Worth

I went back to the Dr this morning for my check-up. His heartbeat was strong and everything looked great! I have been worried about the swelling and back pains. He told me I just needed to eat more protein and calcium. So he started me on some calcium pills twice day and more rest. If you know what foods are best for protein please let me know. I was really worried he was going to put me on bed rest but my prayers got answered and he didn't. I was told just to lay down 15-30mins during lunch on my left side and do the same thing when I get home in the afternoons. Everything is still scheduled for March 25Th!!

I'm really looking forwarded to my weekend in trying to finish his room as much as possible before my shower next weekend!

We went to Ft Worth last weekend again for work. It was not much a weekend for us. Addy's poor adenoids are swollen again and I got sick with flu like symptoms. It's not much fun staying horded in a hotel feeling bad. We did get a little shopping done while we were out running errands for the guys. Actually Addy got a lot of shopping done. It actually broke mine and my mom's heart because she wanted to go in the dressing room by herself and try on the clothes. She did a good job all by herself but it means she is growing up way to fast. She got so many clothes I wish I had a picture of everything in piles. She also got a new dress up outfit. She is now Tinkerbell but without the wings lol!!She loved going around and seeing all the animals at the stock show. She Thought it was so funny to see all the baby pigs drinking milk from the momma.She also found a horse that she thinks she needs for her birthday. We did get our annual goat picture taken but I have not got them scanned yet.Plus why we were out shopping at the Gap she wanted her picture taken with this guy!
