First Time at the Movies!!

Last Saturday we took Addy to see her first movie at the theater. Every time we pass by she always tells me she wants to go there so I knew it was time. We headed to the 1:20 show to watch Shrek in 3D!! Neither one of us liked wearing the glasses very much but she didn't want daddy wearing them either. It was really hard to take a picture inside the movies. I hate it turned out so blurry. She enjoyed eating popcorn and dancing the music. Looks like we will be going back again soon to see Toy Story3. Truth be told... Daddy liked the movie more than anyone!!!

Fun Day in Town!!!!

Last weekend our town held it's annual Moonlight Festival!! We started off early with a Motorcycle Poker Run. Addy was so excited she got to ride with Pops in the parking only. She really wants to go riding on the road but mommy says it is to dangerous. After the motorcycle run we went over to the park and enjoyed some fun times riding rides. She always loves getting in the bounce houses.
Then it was off the carousel ride. I loved her hair this day. Our good friend Renea fixed it up just like she was going to the prom. It was prom time so she was doing prom hair when we stopped by so she had to do Addy's to.

Katelyn, Mason & Addy all enjoyed riding in the front of the train!

The second ride we did was the big ride!!!! Addy was such a big girl and laughed the whole time. The 2 bigger kids were scared and telling us to let them out. lol

Her favorite of the day was climbing the rope ladder, going across the bridge and down this slide. She loved it so much the man running it told us just to let her go as many times as she wanted for free. Trust me she did!!!!

After a long day of motorcycles, playing games, riding rides and eating snow cones we set for a little while to listen to a local band!!

Then it was off to Lowe's for a new washing machine. My broke and I was about to go crazy. If you know me you know I love to wash clothes, iron and clean!!! So I couldn't go a day without a washing machine!!

Best friends Addy & Claire enjoying chatting and snacks!

Mothers's Day!!

I just love Mother's Day!!!! We spent our Mother's Day in Marshall working just like every year! Addy got me a Brighton bracelet that says Mother on it, her & my parents gave me clothes and her & Jeremy got me a blender. I know crazy right but I did ask for a blender!! I have missed mine since I blew it up. Addy made me this cute poster and school. It made me cry when I was reading. Us girls left Marshall a little early, leaving the guys down to work and headed to Jefferson for another corn bread sandwich and ice cream. We then headed to my parents where Addy loves to play in their backyard and swing..
Then my dad had to leave my mom's gift at home because it was to big to carry with us. As soon as she saw it when we got home they had to try it out.!!!!! They had such a blast riding the new bike!!

Josey Weekend

A couple of weekends ago we headed back to the Josey Ranch in Marshall. Addy again had a blast watching the horses, playing in the sand pile and getting to go swimming. She had been practicing at home to run in the stick horse. When we got there she practiced also but when the time come she changed her mind. Oh well maybe next year!!After leaving the ranch for the day we headed down town to eat at a wonderful steak house Addy found her boots in Pops truck and decided she wanted to wear them. She is such a country girl. Cute bow, Capri's and boots!! Got it love it! She loved setting next to the alley and watching the girls run barrels!

We had a blast at the hotel. This was the first time she would wear her swim ring and not let anyone help her. She was such a big girl.

She loved to lay back on the ring and put her feet up to relax!!

Sand Pile & Corn Bread Sandwich!!!

This past weekend we went to Marshall, TX for work at the Josey Barrel Racing. Addy had a great time watching the horses run and playing in the sand. I can't believe she played in it because she hates to get her hands dirty. She climbed up took her shoes off and started digging!!!

You can tell by the smile on her face that she had a blast and was loving every minute of it!

She had to stop and watch the horses run the barrels also!!

On the way home we wanted to stop and eat in Jefferson. My mom wanted a corn bread sandwich. Yes you heard me right corn bread sandwich! I really didn't think Addy eat it. She loves cornbread and loves sandwich's but it just didn't sound that good to me. Well, she proved me wrong and ate half of her sandwich. She absolutely loved it. Looks like I will be trying to make these at home.
This was all that was left of hers. We ended up taking it home and she even ate more of it at home. After eating this big sandwich for a little girl she even got ice cream at the OLD General Store in Jefferson!

Bunco with the girls!!!

Last week my friend Kerri hosted Bunco for the month!!! We had such a great time!! We had several of our old players and even some new ones this week! I even walked away a winner with the lowest score! ha Also Brandice gave me a really cute wine glass for my birthday!! Thanks Kerri for hosting this month it was a blast. I can't wait until next month at Brandice's house!!
