Past Halloween Costumes

This week on Kelly's Korner it is show us your Halloween costumes. I am so excited about Addy's costume this year. she is the cutest ladybug I have ever seen.

For her first Halloween she was a duck. She got tons of treats for her first year.

I even dressed up as a Hippie with her on her first year!!

We got involved at work one year also. Glendel was a mask man, Ashlie was a nurse and me as a Hippie.

Addy's 2nd year which was last year she was a witch. the sweetest little witch I have ever seen.

she was showing us her witch face.

This year she is a ladybug. I took these photos this morning before school. I will have some better ones this weekend.

Fall Festival

We also attended my old school's Fall Festival. Addy loves going to these things to play games, jump in the bounce house and do the cake walk. She actually won 2 cakes our last time around. She was so excited and wanted to go again. walking in the cake walk
this was me and Addy going down the big slide. It took my stomach away but she loved it.

Having a blast in the bounce house. I don't know why my camera messed up

Halloween Party

Also this past Saturday Addy's friend and our neighbors had a Fall Party! The kids had a blast painting pumpkins, decorating cookies, going fishing, face painting, riding the jeep and playing with bubbles. Addy is still excited about the pumpkin the painted. She pretty much covered the pumpkin in paint, glitter and stickers. Thanks Katie, Keres, Ava and George for such a great time!!

Pumpkin Patch

This past Saturday Addy, my mom and myself took our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. It was a little muddy but we still had fun. We walked through the hay maze, up the tower of hay (which I got no pics of), hay ride, through the pumpkins and played on the animal statues. Addy had a good time seeing all the pumpkins, riding on the hayride and sticking her head through the wooden faces which I don't have on my camera

More Great Weather

We took advantage of the great weather again yesterday. We got lots of play time in on the swing set and outside play. Addy mowed the yard with her daddy for the first time yesterday. I hope it is the last time we have to mow. She had a blast!!

Then after playing outside it was time to head in for some computer time. Here she is pulling Elmo up and the game she wants to play. she loves the chicken game where she has to help Elmo count the eggs by clicking on them. She after she counts them all they do the chicken dance.

I can't believe I can already do her hair like this. she looks all grown up with it fixed this way and she loves pig tails.

Thank goodness for good weather

We are so excited to have good weather for a couple days. No more rain means we can play outside. So yesterday while supper was in the oven we headed outside to play with the chalk. So her and daddy laid down so we could trace their bodies. She had so much fun. She only wanted hers done in blue so you can't see it that well.

Thanks to my wonderful parents for this wonderful anniversary present. Our dishwasher went out. So parents decided that is what we needed. Thank goodness no more washing dishes by hand. I loved this gift. If you know me I love to clean for there I hated for dishes to be setting on my counter drying. I want everything to be put up.

What a week-end!

We started the weekend off with a great dinner at the Country Club. Addy loves to go there and eats so good. Notice the salad that she eating. She is such a good eater. Here lately all she wants is salads, yogurt, cheese and bananas. I love her outfit here that Angela made and Tina made the bow. It is so cute and she is so comfortable.
We have a computer genius on our hands. She wakes and goes to bed wanting to play on the computer. She knows how to turn it on, click on her icon, pull up all Sesame Street characters, pull up what movie or learning game she wants to do. She games are great learning tools for counting, letter, colors and patterns. Looks like we may need to get a new computer for Christmas.
On Friday night we went to the Daingerfield homecoming which was held here in Mt. Pleasant. Their field had to much water on it. It was so cold and of course Daingerfield won. Addy enjoyed watching the cheerleaders and the Tigers do flips. she never once got cold

On Saturday night me, Jeremy, our friends Christy and Dustin went to dinner and then out dancing. We has such a great time getting to cut up and have a great time. I can't do it againg with you guys. Thanks for going with us.

Happy Anniversary

This past Sunday, October 18th Jeremy and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. It really don't seem like it has been that long. We have actually been together since June 2000. Happy Anniversary Jeremy!! I am looking forward to many more years to come!

Please Pray

My little cousin Leslie whom is 21 has been battling a rare form of cancer for many years. She was first diagnosed and treated as a teenager and was then declared in remission for an extended period of time. Numerous testing and repeated trips to Houston-based MD Anderson revealed that Leslie’s cancer has returned. After extensive surgeries and completing radiation treatment, she is currently back in the hospital. LuLu (as we call her) was put back in the hospital last Thursday. They are running more test on her today. Please pray for this beautiful young lady and her family. She is very strong and a fighter. I was blessed to have Addy on her birthday so Addy will always share a special day with such a wonderful person.
Many people don't think a 2yr old knows what is going on but I promise you Addy does. We don't miss a day without calling her LULU. This morning when she woke up the first thing she said was "Momma LULU sick I love her!" As we drive by the hospital she looks for her lu. Addy has many concerns about her Lu. I just wish she was able to go and see her right now but our hospital will not let anyone under 13 come in. We love Leslie so much and know that God is watching over her and our family.

Date Night

On Saturday night me and Jeremy had a little date night. We took Addy to eat at Applebee's and she ate a whole bowl of Cole slaw. I don't know where she gets her eating habits from but it's not me. After we ate Miss Ashley (her teacher from school) was nice to come and set with Addy while me and Jeremy went to a karaoke party. Neither one of us sing but I am a good back up dancer. Not many people there could sing but we all have a blast trying and dancing.

we had to sing a little Tina Turner "Proud Mary"

Once we got home of course Addy was still awake and going strong. I believe her and Miss Ashley had a great time. This is what she was wearing when we got there and she would not take it off. so therefore she slept in it all night long. Addy loves her tutu's!
