HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SWEET ANGEL!

Wow I can't believe today my little girl is turning 3!! It just seems like yesterday that she was born. I woke up this morning and was remembering everything I did the morning before we went to the hospital These fast 3 years have flown by so fast!! I can remember the day she was born I was so nervous and so excited at the same time! It seems just like it was yesterday

1st birthday she has so little and darling!
2nd birthday I love those curls!!

3rd birthday still sweeter than ever!
I love you Addyson Blair Long and hope you have such a great birthday. You have brought so much joy into mine and daddy's life. We adore you so much and so thankful you come into our lives. WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Addy's 3rd Birthday Party!!

Last Saturday we celebrated Miss Addyson's 3rd Birthday!! The past 3 years have flown by way to fast! She a Ni Hao Kai Lan theme party. I absolutely loved her cake!!! I was a little worried about the party because it rained 20mins before the party started. The party started at 4 and right at 4 it stopped raining. It was such a miracle. The kids had such a blast! They all really enjoyed the water slide that Nana & Pops got her for her birthday!! It was a huge hit and helped them stay cool on the hot day!! She loved when everyone sang Happy Birthday to her. She just started grinning when they said Happy Birthday Addy!!! Mommy wasn't fast enough to get the knife so she decided to cut the cake herself with a plastic knife. I thought it was her cake so everything was ok!

The presents were a blast and she got so many neat things!!!! As you can tell she was so excited about this gift!

All 3 of the girls were excited about the nail dryer set. These 3 girls opened all the gifts together and it was a blast watching them do it.

The music card oh the music card. Once the card started playing music the girls started dancing. They have some really good moves!

Then it was time for her big present!!! Her Barbie bicycle. It is so cute and she looks so grown up riding it!!

Even though we had a water slide, swing set, and bounce house. All the girls wanted to play with was the water table to make mud pies. They had so much making them.

Addy had such a great birthday!!! Thanks to everyone who came to help her celebrate!!!

By the way I did have a pinata for the party but forgot to do it. Guess I had to much on my mind. So it looks like Addy and Ava will have lots of candy because they get to bust it on Addy's birthday Tuesday!!

Shreveport Weekend!!

On July 9th we headed down to Shreveport, LA for Jeremy's softball tournament! Since was going to be playing softball all weekend my parents decided to join us. We got down Friday night and it was raining like crazy so we enjoyed a great meal and Joe's Crab Shack. I wish I would have had my camera with me because we had so much. On Saturday Jeremy headed out to play his softball game so we headed out on the boardwalk for some shopping and fun

Addy and her Pops rode the trolley the majority of the time. Addy loves riding trains or anything like a train.

Then it was time to head to Build A Bear. Addy chose to build a monkey named Abe!!Abe and Addy were hungry since they worked so hard in Build A Bear trying on Abe's clothes. She chose such a cute golf outfit for him. He started being a football player, baseball player and then finally a golfer. He is just a all around sports player

We ate lunch at Hooter's and they both loved the food. We started out setting outside and then it started pouring down rain so we headed inside. About that time Jeremy called and said the tournament had been canceled.

We also spent most of our time when she was not swimming down at Bass Pro Shop! We loved going and seeing the gators outside and all the fish inside. She loved feeding the gators and turtles her cereal and cookies.
OH NO!!! The Gator got Addy! She loved standing behind the gator and acting like it got her. Then we all tried a little game of glow in the dark put-a-golf. It's harder then is sounds. We also spent several times no the carousel. She loved riding the rabbit!!
We can't wait to go back. If anyone is going to the boardwalk I would recommend staying at the Courtyard there. You park at the hotel and never have to leave. It was such a great weekend.

4th of July!!

Wow I am so far behind on blogging it is crazy. 4th of July was a lazy weekend for us. We had been looking forward to spending time outside, playing, catching up on things and going swimming with friends. Things changed on Sunday. Addy went down for a nap Sunday and woke up with a high fever. She never acted like she felt bad at all only that her head hurt. Of course the Dr was closed being the 4th and a Sunday. So we took some meds that we had and that helped a little but the fever would not go away for very long

We still went to the local Church in town to watch the annual fireworks. We ended up just setting in the car and watching them. She didn't feel to good and plus she didn't like the loud sounds.
So on Monday morning we headed to see Dr Stagg at 9am. They tested her for the flu and strep throat. She had neither one. She had the Adenovirus! We had never even heard of this virus. It causes you to have fever, headaches, and a red throat. A shot would not cure it so we were on medicine for a week. I guess you can tell by the picture below you have to try new things since you are in the house all weekend sick.
So glad my little girl feels so much better.
