Bull Riding in Cowboy Stadium!!

This past weekend we attended the PBR in Arlington, TX. It was the first bull riding inside the new Cowboy Stadium. You have not been in the stadium it is something to see. I told myself I was not going to watch to "HUGE" tv but you can't help yourself. We went down on Friday morning. Addy, my mom and myself stopped and did a little shopping on the way down. When we got to the hotel of course we had to swim then it was time to get ready for dinner. OF course we had to go to Joe's Crab Shack! We all love that place, good food and great entertainment!!! And yes me and Addy got up to dance. We played on the playground while we waited on a table. Addy loves the music, dancers and all the lights.

She got a little brave and decided she wanted to ride a mechanical bull. She told me to put her up and let her ride.

Our trailer booth in front of Cowboy Stadium! Yes we had to go for work. I know it's a hard job but someone has to do it!

This was our first in the new stadium. This play is awesome.

Mr Jerry Jones himself come out to greet all the bull riders there.

Let's get ready to RRRRUUUUMMMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this man

Joe Nichols sang the National Anthem. Gary Allen also put a concert on at the beginning!

Our favorite rider Kody Lostroh aka by Addy as a Cutie P 2 T!! You can say his name and she tells everyone that's what is he. She is correct he it is that.

Enjoying watching her riders

Justin McBRide also put on a concert.

We had such a great fun relaxing weekend in Arlington. I can say I am so excited we don't have to stay in a hotel for another month. Also on Saturday we had lunch at the Olive Garden. Addy ate so good so Nana told her she could get some dessert. I am a sucker for desserts. They chose these...they are Italian donuts in powered sugar and you dip them in chocolate sauce. They are so awesome!!!

SNOW-SNOW-SNOW

I still can't believe I didn't blog about the snow. A couple of weeks ago we had about 6in of snow! This was Addy's first snow fall. She really didn't know what to think about it. Once we got outside to play she had a blast! She wanted to walk all in it and kept telling me it was cold. We didn't stay out long because neither one of us are cold weather people.
Addy decided she needed to drive her Gator!

It was so funny making snowballs and throwing them at mommy!

My little now angel!

Eating the snow!

We tried to build a snowman but decided we better wait on daddy. He made a much bigger one for us!Our home with it's first snowfall

Sweet VAlentine

My silly sweet valentine. Valentine's Day was a lazy stay at home day for us! We have been gone so much so we decided to stay home all day and do nothing. Both sets of Addy's grandparents did bring her some sweet valentine's! Crazy girl thought she could fit into her shopping cart! She did later on that night.
She decided she wanted to help make Rice Krispie treats. She color red had to be just perfect. We also made chocolate covered strawberry's but I forgot to take a picture of them

They turned out great!!!

Father Daughter Dance

This past Friday night Jeremy and Addyson attended their first Father/Daughter Dance. Addy was so excited and practiced her dancing for weeks. She couldn't wait to go on a date with daddy. It was so much fun getting her all dressed up with red painted nails, gorgeous hair, pretty dress, lip gloss and don't forget the glitter on the arms!!!!This picture is priceless of my sweethearts. You can so tell the love they have for each other and that she has her daddy wrapped around her finger. They are walking out the door ready to go dance the night away!
But first daddy must give the princess a corsage for the night to make everything complete.I knew they would have a blast! I was just hoping that daddy would keep up with this dancing queen.Yes I had to go up there to video them walking in. I am dreading the day she goes to her first prom. I wanted to cry because she looked so gorgeous all dressed upAnd of course the dancing queen hit the floor right when she got there. Daddy said she was not shy a bit and was ready to dance when they walked in the door. She got really excited when they played Michael Jackson and Hannah Montana. She even did her Michael Jackson dance. She's just like her mommy!! loves to dance!!She loved dancing with her friend Carson and still talks about it today.GO Girl dance away!! Daddy said she even did the twist and went down to the floor.
The dance started at 7:00 so I expected them to be home by 7:30-8:00. Not my little girl she stayed with the girls and didn't get home until after 9:30. She was so excited when she got home telling me all about it and showing my how to dance. Daddy said she even ate half a watermelon and cantaloupe lol You get hungry when you dance that much. She didn't want to take her dress off when she got home because she wanted to sleep in it. I think they are both ready for next years dance!

Helping for a great Cause

Last month Addy's school was collecting food for an organization here in town called Titus County Cares. Titus County Cares is a faith-based non-profit organization that has partnered with local agencies and organizations to help meet the needs of Titus County residents in an efficient manner. They also have back pack for kids and they help feed children on the weekends who's families can not afford it. So her class got to carry the items that they have collected and donate to these children and this great cause. Not only did they donate but they also got to help stuff the bags for children. While stuffing the bags it broke my heart knowing that is all some of the kids are going to eat over the weekend. They started off with one package of Ramen noodles, then on juice drinka microwaveable macaroni, beef jerky stick, fruit roll up, breakfast bar and a cereal bar.Addy was handing off her first bag that she had stuffed and went to get back in line to stuff some more.
Over all the kids stuffed over 150 bags within an hour! We were so proud of them! The kids did great and were so excited to be helping. For more information on Titus County Cares you can visit the site at http://tituscountycares.org/

Addy loves going in and seeing the fish, deer and squirrels!Addy and Pops doing a little shooting! We went out Saturday are rode some rides because Addy had been begging to ride the Coaster Roster as she calls it. We didn't ride the roller coaster but stayed with he smaller rides. Tea cup was fun but it did get us a little dizzy. The elephants were the first ride she adventured out on and she loved it. It was really hard to get a good picture of her on it.

She was so excited to get to ride on the train ride. I believe this was her favorite ride.
