Memorial Day Weekend!

I know I am a little behind on updating about Memorial Day but I have had to catch up at work. It all started Friday night when my sweet parents decided they wanted Addy to stay the night with them. So me and Jeremy got to go out on a much needed date night. We just went to Chili's for a great dinner and some drinks. It was really nice having a dinner together and a night alone.

Saturday morning we got up to go get Addy and headed to the Dallas Zoo. We had a blast! I think he had more fun laughing at her on the way down there because she didn't miss not one McDonalds restaurant or billboard. I am telling you she loves her McDonalds. We enjoyed seeing all the animals and taking the train ride. Addy and Jeremy were more interested in the snakes and lizzards. I would not even go in one building with them because that is all there was. She loved the water in the kid zone park. Thank goodness I had extra clothes. We will for sure be going back to the zoo. She fell asleep just 3 miles after leaving.

On Sunday we stayed home for the most part. Addy went out with pops and nana to hit a few golf balls. And guess what she spotted a snake. thank goodness they were not that close to it.

On Monday we made a trip to Daingerfield to see Jeremy's parents. He tried getting thier surround sound to work but he had no luck. We headed back home to take a nap but she didn't want to take one. So we went to pick up Nana and headed to the Country CLub for a swim. She loves being in the water. We also enjoyed a great steak dinner that night. thanks dad for the wonderful dinner. I am ready for another long weekend soon.

Girl Night!

Last night we had girls night. Sarah, Kerri, Christy and I went to Two Senorita's for a nice dinner. Us girls enjoyed a nice drink or two (Kerri & I). Poor Sarah had some good sweet tea since she is having a sweet baby boy. We had some great girl talk and catching up to do. Everthing was going great until the waiter gave me his pen. I took the lid off to sign my receipt and ink went everywhere. All over my hands, my shirt, debit card, table and even on my purse. I am not very happy about my purse and shirt. I hope it all comes out. Thanks girls for a great night. We will have to do it again soon.

What a week and weekend

On Saturday we had the Moonlight Jubilee in town. I was over the motorcycle poker run which turned out great. We spent all day there and Addy enjoyed playing so much. After Addy woke up from her nap on Sunday all she wanted to do was lay around. So not like her since she is always running around and can never set still. We took her temp and it was 101. I knew my baby girl was sick. We went to the dr on Monday morning and goodness she had strep throat. She has never had any big sickness like this. So we had to get blood drawn and a shot. Jeremy and I both took turns staying at home and working for two days. We all got back to normal on Wednesday. Which Addy is not real happy about going back to school. I don't blame her I didn't want to go back to work either.

When I picked her up from school yesterday I asked her where she wanted to go after we left the Chamber. Of course she wanted to go to McDonalds. She can spot a McDonalds for miles. So we went and she made friends with a little boy. They climbed up and went down the slide several times. She usually will not go down the slide without me or someone else. I am so glad my baby girl is feeling so much better.

Mothers Day!

Being a mother is the best thing in life. I have such a beautiful sweet baby girl! I wish everyday could be MOther's Day. We spent our weekend in Marshall working at a barrel race. Which was find we still all had a blast. We hung out at the ranch for the 2nd weekend in a row watching barrel racing and working. Around lunch me and mom decided to head to the hotel and leave Jeremy and my dad working. We took a much needed nap, got up got ready and went to eat a wonderful fish dinner at Big Pines Lodge. Once we got back to the hotel Miss Addy had to go swimming. She loves the water and jumping in. Looks I will be putting her in swimming lessons soon. My mom let me open my gift from her and Addy that night. I got several shirts, a "A" charm for a necklace and a beautiful braclet. Sunday morning I received a picture frame and a charm for my Pandora braclet from Addy and Jeremy. I love my family so much.

Addy made me some really cute gifts at school!

great weekend

Well, it's been to long since I have blogged. This has been a great week but very busy for me here at work. Last weekend was awesome. We stayed home all weekend and pretty much did nothing. I was suppose to work the rummage/bake sale at TLC but got lucky when they sold pretty much everything on Friday and raised over $600. That is wonderful for one day plus the cookies my mother-in-law made went fast! The other moms did a great job taking care of everything. So on Saturday Addy and I decided to go to Longview with Pops and Nana. We hit the mall and of course Addy saw the nail place and had to get a pedi. She loves getting them. Then we headed over to the Academy. This is where we spent most of our time. Looking and playing golf, buying (I can't believe I did being an Aggie fan) a Longhorn outfit for Addy and lots of looking. She fell asleep as soon as we got in the car to head home.

On Sunday we celebrated my dads birthday with a nice dinner at home and then ended with a fishing trip. After we sang Happy Birthday to my dad she would sing the song the rest of the night. This was Addy first fishing trip and it was at the Country Club. she had a blast playing in the water. I loved her hair on Sunday. She let my mom put it up in pig tails. She looked like Abby Cadabby's twin
