Love My Sweet Girl

This photo was taken at a birthday party a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe how grown up she looks! Her hair is so long and curly. She has the longest eye lashes that she got from her daddy. We absolutely love our baby girl so much and we are so blessed!

They Won Again!

Jeremy had another softball game so me and Addy went to cheer him on. It was a little chilly but we had fun anyway. Addy looks so grown up all curled up in her chair watching the game. Of course they won again!!!

Caramel Pie!!!!! Yummy

This is the easiest and best recipe I have ever had! I had a great friend bring me this when I Addy and fell in love with it.

Caramel Pie

2 cans evaporated milk
Graham Cracker Pie Crust
Whip Cream

Take paper off of milk cans and boil uncovered in a large pan for 2hrs. Make sure you keep the cans covered in water the whole time. The milk will caramelize as it boils. Once done boiling pour into the pie crust. Put cover on top of pie and put in refrigerator to tell it settle for a couple of hours. Once ready to serve put whip cream on top. Enjoy!!

I am making this tomorrow so I will put a picture up after I make it.

2 easy dinners!!

I have recently fell in love with cooking with Bisquick! I cooked this for dinner the other night and loved it. It is so easy to make.

Cheeseburger Pie

1 lb ground beef
1/2tsp salt
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
1/2c Bisquick
1c milk
2 eggs

Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in salt. Spread in pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese. In small bowl, stir remaining ingredients with fork or wire whisk until blended. Pour into pie plate. Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

Itilian Chicken

Boneless chicken breast (I usually do 4 peices)
Itilian dressing
1 tsp flour
1 tbls water
Reynolds oven cooking bag

preheat over to 400. Put flour, water, and dressing into bag. Coat the inside of the bag and then place chicken inside. Set bag inside a cooking dish and bake for 1hr. We cook this several times a month. It goes great with Crescent rolls, chicken & broccoli rice and a salad

What a great weekend!

This past weekend was a blast! We started out Friday night going to the Daingerfield football game. Even though we were not there very long because the rain poured down. It didn't start to sprinkle it just poured and fast. We ran to the car and were soaked. We pulled Addy's clothes off so she was fine but no us we were so cold. Addy started to enjoy the game so it looks like we will be going back.
On Saturday morning we had Jordan and Jennas birthday party at McDonals. Addy had a blast getting cupcake all over her shirt and playing.
After the party we went with my mom to Pittsburg for some furniture and clothes shopping. We had to stop by the Brookshires to pick a few things up. Addy enjoys her own shopping. They have the cutest buggies for kids there and of course all she got was a Birthday cake. She thinks all cakes are birthday cakes. I really wish they had these buggies in Mt. Pleasant.
After shopping we enjoyed a great lunch with my parents while Jeremy played golf in the rain. Then he headed to let Addy watch the boat races. She enjoyed watching the boats race and look at the water. Her and Nana also did some cheerleading tricks.
We then headed home for a much needed nap. We layed on the couch to watch Elmo and within less then 5mins this is what I saw.
She took a late nap but that was ok because she stayed with Nana and Pops on Saturday night. Jeremy and I had date night and had a blast. We went out to eat and then dancing. It has been so long since we have done anything like that and we had so much fun. We both can't wait to do it again!!

Long Weekend of Nothing!!

We had a great Labor Day weekend of doing nothing much at all but relaxing. We started Friday night off with a friend at Chili's and them me and Addy headed for some ice cream at Braums. Needless to say Addy ended up eating both cones because mommy's was better. On Saturday night we celebrated Addy's friend Jacob's 2nd birthday. The kids enjoyed playing the water, swimming and driving the jeep. After the party we went to El Chico's for a bite where Addy enjoyed eating some chips and butter. Oh how that girl loves some butter!!
On sunday we did the same thing of nothing again. Addy and Jeremy both took a very late night I mean they didn't wake up until 6 which was not a good idea. So after we cooked dinner we decided we had to do something to get her sleepy. So we headed to Wal mart at 8:30pm. I think it is crazy for parents to have their children out that late at Wal Mart but I had no choice. we needed some things so why not go. we then went back for ice cream and Yes Addy had both hers and Jeremy's ice cream. He got cookies and cream and she kept telling him daddy these cookies good. We decided to have a slumber party that night with blankets on the floor and popcorn. Since the nap was so late that day we didn't go to bed until after midnight. Never again will this happen.

On Monday we had her pool up in the yard so she was ready to go swimming. Jeremy said go change clothes and she said no I will go naked. Thank goodness we live in a quite neighborhood with other kids her age so everyone understands. She had blast out there!!

Love & Laugh So Much!!

I never thought I could love someone as much as I love my little angel Addy. I never thought someone could make me laugh as much as she does. Once she turned 2 I was dreading the terrible two's that everyone talked about. We have been very lucky so far! I love to hear her sweet voice saying I love you daddy when he puts her in the car in the morning or telling me I love you when we go to sleep. We were leaving school yesterday and she told her teacher "Bye Ms Nikki I Love You!" She can be so sweet but don't get me wrong she can be a mess too. At times she has a little bit of her momma come out in here. But most of the time she is a sweet little girl who loves to love and help momma do what ever. she loves cooking, cleaning and espcially washing dishes. (our dishwasher is broke right now) Last night all she wanted to do was hold my hand and just give kisses. Then she is finally into babies yeah for Mommy!! I didn't think this day would ever come. Last night she would pat her baby on her back and say "baby it's ok!"

We laugh at her so much. As we try so hard to get her to go to sleep at night she will just giggle. She will say momma tickle daddy and she will then laugh forever. She will finally tucker out but it takes a while most of time. She ask about all of her friends and family before going out. We have to tell her every one is sleeping so maybe she will. I told her Pops was sleeping last night and she said no he is cooking. This was at 10pm so I don't think he was cooking. We drive by the vet office every morning going to school so we have to see if there are any horses sick. this morning in her sweet voice she says "Momma the horses they ok they not sick they got better!" (there were no horses at the vet today) Yesterday they were there so she said "momma those horses they sick"

I have to throw in the other night we watched the Miss Universe pagent and as they call the final 5 you know they clasp there hands and shake their heads. Well Addy would stand in bed with her hands on her hips and just wave like they did. Then she reached back grabbed my hand and shook it just like the girls on tv. Too funny!! Love my baby girl so much

Double Bogey

Last night was Jeremy's softball games. They won one and lost one. The weather was nice but at the end I got a little cool but it didn't stop Addy from getting a snow cone. She had a blast last night and wanted to play with the boys. Her and the boys were running, playing catch and hitting the ball. she again was Jeremy's little cheerleader on the side.
