Crazy Kids

I didn't have to cook dinner last night because I was going out with the girls for Christy's birthday. So when I got home me and Addy decided we wanted to paint. She had a blast painting her hands, drawing on the paper and then painting her face like a kitty. She asked me when daddy got home could she paint his face too and of course I said yes. Daddy knew nothing of what we were doing. He just knew everytime we talked to him we were giggling. He found our surprise when he walked in. Of course he was a good sport and let us paint his face.

The saddest day

Saturday was the saddest day I think I have ever been through. My beautiful little cousin passed away. Her funeral was SAturday morning. She was the strongest young lady that I have ever met. She had fought with cancer for many many years. She never wanted to give up and all she wanted to do was keep on trying. Lu is now no longer suffering and now has her wings. God has truly got one strong awesome angel with him now. We love you lulu and will forever be missed.

Vegas

On Tuesday night we drove to Dallas for our flight out to Vegas. We were all ready to go but then again we wanted to stay home with our family. We talked back and forth about what we were going to do. Addy was looking forward to it and the guys had banquets so we decided to go ahead and go. Addy was perfect on the plane and loved it for her 2nd time to fly. She watched Yo Gabba GAbba, colored, ate and played games. People on the plane never knew there was a kid on the plane she was so good. Once we landed she was pumped about being in Vegas. We got checked into the hotel and headed straight to the room. She was so excited she didn't go to bed until midnight.

On Wednesday Addy, my mom and I headed out on the town. Jeremy and my dad had a banquet to attend. We went first to the M&M Factory. If you have never been you need to go. It is 4 stories high and all M&M's. Addy loved it and that is still all she talks about. She loved all the fountains and throwing money in them. We walked all the way down the strip to Ceasers Palace to do some shopping. We got to see Dan Marino and Elvis (which Addy didn't like at all) We shopped at a few places and then we got the dreaded phone call that my little cousin had passed away. We had to eat lunch and then headed back to the room. My mom headed straight to the airport and got lucky to get a flight back soon. Addy took a long needed nap that afternoon. We joined Jermey and my dad for dinner that night and took Addy to see the lions at MGM. she thought they were so neat.

On Thursday we headed over to the booth to check the trailers out and do some walking around. I was not in to doing much that day as my heart was broken. I couldn't set still so me and Addy headed back to the M&M Factory and to see the lions. I tried to get her to eat at the Rainforest Cafe but she didn't want close to the elephants. All she wanted was McDonalds. So we got a bite and headed back to the booth of trailers. She got to get her picture with bull riders Paulo Crimber and Wiley Peterson. That night we went to the PBR where Addy loved the bull riding. She was excited to see Mike White and Kody Lostroh! her face still lights up when you say there name. After the bull riding we headed for ice cream and then to bed.

Friday we were lucky to finally find a flight out with 4 seats. We went back to the booth until it was time to leave for our flight. Addy enjoyed talking to everyone, watching the sheep riding and telling everyone her favorite bull rider was Mike White. The flight was not until 5:50 so we didn't get back into Dallas until midnight. We finally pulled into Mt Pleasant at 2am.

Halloween 2009

My sweet little ladybug was ready for trick or treating. We didn't get to do much because she had already been to the dr that day for a shot for double earaches. She was still a little shy this year going up to each house. We drove the golf cart through the country club and stopped at a few houses. We headed down to the club where she got to paint a pumpkin. she was so excited about that. We then headed back to Nana and Pops to help them hand out candy. After a fun filled night she enjoyed some milk and cookies.
