Mothers's Day!!
I just love Mother's Day!!!! We spent our Mother's Day in Marshall working just like every year! Addy got me a Brighton bracelet that says Mother on it, her & my parents gave me clothes and her & Jeremy got me a blender. I know crazy right but I did ask for a blender!! I have missed mine since I blew it up. Addy made me this cute poster and school. It made me cry when I was reading.
Us girls left Marshall a little early, leaving the guys down to work and headed to Jefferson for another corn bread sandwich and ice cream. We then headed to my parents where Addy loves to play in their backyard and swing..

Josey Weekend
A couple of weekends ago we headed back to the Josey Ranch in Marshall. Addy again had a blast watching the horses, playing in the sand pile and getting to go swimming. She had been practicing at home to run in the stick horse. When we got there she practiced also but when the time come she changed her mind. Oh well maybe next year!!
After leaving the ranch for the day we headed down town to eat at a wonderful steak house Addy found her boots in Pops truck and decided she wanted to wear them. She is such a country girl. Cute bow, Capri's and boots!! Got it love it!
She loved setting next to the alley and watching the girls run barrels!

Sand Pile & Corn Bread Sandwich!!!
This past weekend we went to Marshall, TX for work at the Josey Barrel Racing. Addy had a great time watching the horses run and playing in the sand. I can't believe she played in it because she hates to get her hands dirty. She climbed up took her shoes off and started digging!!!

You can tell by the smile on her face that she had a blast and was loving every minute of it!
She had to stop and watch the horses run the barrels also!!
On the way home we wanted to stop and eat in Jefferson. My mom wanted a corn bread sandwich. Yes you heard me right corn bread sandwich! I really didn't think Addy eat it. She loves cornbread and loves sandwich's but it just didn't sound that good to me. Well, she proved me wrong and ate half of her sandwich. She absolutely loved it. Looks like I will be trying to make these at home.
This was all that was left of hers. We ended up taking it home and she even ate more of it at home. After eating this big sandwich for a little girl she even got ice cream at the OLD General Store in Jefferson!

You can tell by the smile on her face that she had a blast and was loving every minute of it!

My little girl is getting so big!!!
I have had the bed rails for Addy's full size bed for some time now. I was just dragging my feet to put them up because that meant my little girl was growing up. We have all 3 been sleeping in our bed and none of us getting much sleep at night! So I knew it was time. I picked Addy up on Friday and we started talking about a girl bed. She kept telling me she wanted to sleep with mommy and not want a big girl bed. Then finally she said OK I do. So we headed home and she was excited about taking her little bed down! We had most of it tore down before Jeremy got home and then he helped us finish it.
We headed out Saturday morning in search of the perfect mattress. After going to several furniture stores we finally found what we were looking for. She was so excited that Nana & Pops helped her get it all set up. She was really looking forward to sleeping in her big girl bed that night. So we headed to Wal-Mart to get the rest of our needs. She did sleep in her bed that night for 12 long hours. She went to bed early because of no nap Saturday so at 5:30 am Sunday morning she was wide awake. She finally got a good nights rest! I had to sneak a picture because she didn't move most of the night. (I know because I checked on her I think 100 times before I went to bed)
On Sunday morning we headed to Longview with Nana & Pops to find a bedspread. I didn't look hard because I wanted to something simple. I knew we would change in a couple of months/year and it was get dirty. So we found one at Target! After doing some more shopping and good eating at Red Lobster we finally headed home. Addy wanted some ice cream so stopped at Dairy Queen and got some dilly bars!! You can tell she loved her some Dilly Bar!!!! Look at those Big Eyes!!

Pedi Time!!!!
We always love the spring/summer time!!! It means we can finally start getting Pedi's again!!! Daddy left us last weekend to go on his annual guys camping trip so we headed out for a girl day. Addy, my mom and I enjoyed a getting a pedi and freshly painted toe nails. Addy picked out the prettiest purple for her and got a diamond on each big toe. She loves going and tells them exactly what she wants.
you can tell by the smile on her face that she is having such a great time!! We can't wait for the next one!
