My little girl is getting so big!!!

I have had the bed rails for Addy's full size bed for some time now. I was just dragging my feet to put them up because that meant my little girl was growing up. We have all 3 been sleeping in our bed and none of us getting much sleep at night! So I knew it was time. I picked Addy up on Friday and we started talking about a girl bed. She kept telling me she wanted to sleep with mommy and not want a big girl bed. Then finally she said OK I do. So we headed home and she was excited about taking her little bed down! We had most of it tore down before Jeremy got home and then he helped us finish it. We headed out Saturday morning in search of the perfect mattress. After going to several furniture stores we finally found what we were looking for. She was so excited that Nana & Pops helped her get it all set up. She was really looking forward to sleeping in her big girl bed that night. So we headed to Wal-Mart to get the rest of our needs. She did sleep in her bed that night for 12 long hours. She went to bed early because of no nap Saturday so at 5:30 am Sunday morning she was wide awake. She finally got a good nights rest! I had to sneak a picture because she didn't move most of the night. (I know because I checked on her I think 100 times before I went to bed)

On Sunday morning we headed to Longview with Nana & Pops to find a bedspread. I didn't look hard because I wanted to something simple. I knew we would change in a couple of months/year and it was get dirty. So we found one at Target! After doing some more shopping and good eating at Red Lobster we finally headed home. Addy wanted some ice cream so stopped at Dairy Queen and got some dilly bars!! You can tell she loved her some Dilly Bar!!!! Look at those Big Eyes!!

Yummy Yummy!!!

We finally made it home to put final touches on her bed. The bed spread looks so cute and bright in her room. I still have to get some throw pillows and change out her curtains. In the end I think it will look so cute for such a little girl!!

Yes she has slept in her bed 3 nights now. Monday morning she got up at 7:00am on her own and was in a great mood. She also slept in there last night but did come in our room at 3:30am but to be honest mommy didn't mind having her little girl back in her bed!

Pedi Time!!!!

We always love the spring/summer time!!! It means we can finally start getting Pedi's again!!! Daddy left us last weekend to go on his annual guys camping trip so we headed out for a girl day. Addy, my mom and I enjoyed a getting a pedi and freshly painted toe nails. Addy picked out the prettiest purple for her and got a diamond on each big toe. She loves going and tells them exactly what she wants. you can tell by the smile on her face that she is having such a great time!! We can't wait for the next one!

a Little Baseball

We love going and watching our cousin Tyler play baseball. He is a freshman and plays on Varsity in Omaha!!! Go #2!!!!! Addy kept her other cousin Cutter quite busy all night. She had him running and chasing her several times!!! She acts just like him! They are both so hyper and very rambunctious!!

Easter!

Easter was so fun this year! Addy was really into hunting the eggs and the Easter bunny! she didn't want to see the bunny but was so glad he brought her presents. We went to my parents house Saturday to dye eggs since Jeremy was playing softball all night and day. She dyed and a few then it was off to play....Her cousin Colton came over to play for a little bit to. They had a blast riding the Gator and trying to run over pops!The Easter bunny come and gave her several new treats! She got finger paints, pj's, movie, pop rocks, candy and a bunny!!!She was so excited about her Dora PJ's. She loved how the Easter bunny knew she loved Dora. She said that Elber (remember our elf from Christmas) must have told him!! She really missed that elf.

We headed back to my parents for Easter lunch and another hunt! She was off and ready to go! She was so funny. She would shake the eggs to see if anything was in them.I would love to know what she was thinking here because there was something on her mind.Time for a little cupcake break!She was so excited my Aunt Sheri brought her dog BooBoo over to hunt with her.Sweet cousins Addy and Ashlie. She loved Ashlie playing with her and swinging her!After the day was all said and done it was time to have a set down talk with Pops and relax. She was telling him that the other people took all her eggs. She didn't want the boiled eggs only the plastic one's that looked like Gabba!!!

Grace's Birthday!!!

One of my other best friends Rheagan's little girl Grace just had her 2nd birthday! We were so excited about the birthday party because they were having a bounce house and a Easter egg hunt!!!! My little Miss Diva was dressed and ready to go. Addy and Grace were ready for the big hunt and finds lots of eggs!! Addy had a blast on the bounce house and slide !

Happy Birthday Miss Grace Dickson!!!! We had a blast at your party. I can hardly believe that you are already 2! I know you and Addy will be best just like me and your mommy always have been!!!!

Sweet Friends

My friends also carried me to dinner for my birthday. We went to Two Senoritas for some good Mexican food. They were so sweet and got me a princess cake, balloons, bracelet's, princess wands, etc. Since they call me DIVA they said it all fit me. lol My cake below was so cute with a tiara on it.Christene and Andera gave me this cute shirt and bracelet

Christy gave me this really cute necklace too. It is red, black and turquoise and is super cute!!!

Kerri gave this cross for my house. It is so pretty and will look great in my house.

Thanks girls for such a great birthday, all the gifts and helping me celebrate! You girls are all the greatest and love you all. I don't know what I would without my girls!!

The BIG 3-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at this sweet sweet chocolate face!!!

Yep it's sad to type it but I did turn the BIG 3-0 last Wednesday the 31st!! When I walk into my office Wednesday morning this is what I find.. Thanks girls so much but I'm just now climbing the hill. haha Also they were so sweet and gave me a delicious coconut pie!!

Then my sweet Addy and loving husband sent me these flowers! They were so pretty and smelled so good!!! Thank you both so much I love you so much!Also my best friend Rheagan sent me these cupcakes which were so good!! Thanks Rhea for reminding me 12 times that I was 30!! ha Can you say I gained several pounds this day after all the sweets I got!!

Then that night my family took me to Addy's favorite place El Chico's!!! We enjoyed some good Mexican food and great messy chocolate cake as you can tell. My parents also gave me some wonderful gifts and Addy gave me a new charm for my bracelet! Us girls being so silly. I was trying really hard not to get the chocolate on me. As you can tell she loved the cake. I can't believe she got that messy.

Easter Party!!

Last Wednesday Addy's school had their Easter party! They had a blast getting to have a fun free day at school! They started the morning off getting to decorate eggs. This was fun but they couldn't wait for them to change colors. Then it was time to decorate cookies. Each one of them got a cookie to spread their icing and put as many sprinkles on them as they wanted.Then it was time for the big Easter egg hunt! The kids had a blast gathering eggs. The older one's even gave the little ones some of their eggs. It was the sweetest thing. They would shake the eggs and if there was no candy in it they would throw them back down.

After the hunt it was playtime for all the kids. Addy enjoyed showing my how she climbed like a monkey and went down the big slide.

Addy with her best friend Claire and her baby brother Ben! We love theses two so much just like they are family. Addy talks about baby Ben all the time. Oh how Miss Addy wants a baby bother or sister so bad.

Bunco Time!!

A couple of weeks ago it was my time to host Bunco at my house. Us girls had a blast! We had new players and even some of the older players (not as in age) were winners for the first time!!!! It is always great getting together with these girls because we always have so much fun!! I can't wait till Bunco next time!
