Addy Cracks Me UP!!

This Saturday was pretty much a girl day which you all know I love. We started the morning off with getting Donuts and a trip to Wal Mart. Addy picked her own outfit out and everyone wanted to know if she had been to a dance recital.

We headed back home and relaxed a bit then decided we better go get some new shoes before the wedding that night. We went to buy Addy some news shoes and then met up with Sarah, Kerri and Jenna to get a much needed pedi. It was great getting all together. Then we met Jeremy and parents at the Smokey Eyed Bar B Q. Addy enjoyed some corn-on-the-cob , good music and watermelon.

After that we headed home for a much needed nap before going to beautiful wedding. The wedding was a little hot outside but Addy enjoyed playing with her friends.

Swimming lessons Day 4

Yesterday was another good day of lessons except the part where I just had to throw her in. I hated it just as much as she did. After that she didn't want to jump in anymore. She kept telling me no momma I go to McDonald's. I promised her after lessons we would go and sure enough we did. She was kinda ok with the hula hoop but not her favorite either. We are going to go swimming this weekend as much as we can to practice for next week.

Tomorrow is my day off and I am so excited. We are going to get up tomorrow go eat donuts, get pedis and then head for pizza or bar b que. Then we have a wedding. Hope it's not too hot for Addy.

Swimming Lessons Day 3

Day 3 was another success! She loves swimming and thinks we are racing everyone to the other wall. She jumps in and goes under just like a big girl. the only thing she dont like is laying on back and getting water in her ear. when we first got in yesterday she wanted me to let her go because she thought she could do it all on her own. We are looking foward to another great after at lessons today.

Forgot to blog about this earlier this week. Addy now knows her left from her right. She can tell you what foot & hand is left and which one is right. She drove the golf cart last night and even knew which way to turn when we tell her to. Which is a good thing because she is a pretty scary driver.

Swimming Lessons Day 2

Day 2 of swimming lessons went so good. I was so proud of her. She didn't cry or yell not one time. Again she loves going under! She kicked, paddled, jumped in, walked the wall, threw the ball and blew bubbles. I am so proud of her. I will have more pictures tomorrow. The only time she gets upset is when it is time to leave. She always wants to go swimming again!!

Swimming Lessons Day 1

Well, yesterday was our first day for swmming lessons! Addy always loves the water and loves to go swimming. What happen to her yesterday? As long as I had her on my hip up close she was fine. She does not mind the going under at all. She hated laying on her tummy next to me and kicking. Thank goodness the class was only 30 mins long. How I hope today goes so much better!

Raisins

For some reason these past couple of days my child has been eating everything she can get her hands. I have never seen her eat this much. I guess since she is so active she stay hungry. She went to the kitchen this weekend and got her raisins. Jeremy was in her playroom on the computer so I said watch her she has her raisins. I walked out of the room and right back within no time and this is what I found....

She had placed her raisins all inside her kitchen. I guess she was storing them for later. Daddy was just letting her have a little fun too...

Notice the one sock and raisins between her toes!! She is such a mess but we love her so much!!!

Happy BIrthday Kayci

WEll I am a little late to post but Happy Birthday to our cousin Kayci Keys! We helped Kayci celebrate her 14th bithday Wednesday night. We all enjoyed swimming, eating hot dogs and cake. I forgot to take pics of Addy because we were to busy keeping up with her

Snake At Work...

What an exciting Monday! We have two small motorcycles out in front of our office outside. As one of the salesman come in today he tells us that a snake just called up in the motorcycle. Well, Jeremy decides it need to come out in case someone sets on the bike. So me and Melissa set inside watching with our camera's ready. We have 4 grown men out trying to get the thing out and it comes out a little then goes back in. We started screaming like crazy!! So finally a brave customer just reached in and pulled it out. Eric grabbed the shovel and cut its head off.

Rodeo-Skating-Swim Weekend

Friday night we attended the MP Rodeo with Nana and Pops. We hated that Jeremy missed it but he was gone on his camping trip with the guys. It has been years since I have been but since Addy loves it so much we had to go. She enjoyed watching all the horses and bulls. She just danced and clapped the whole time. We even did the calf scramble!!

Saturday night we enjoyed going out to eat with Nana and Pops at El Chico's. Then went back to their house for a sleepover.

Sunday we were excited daddy come home. Addy went to her first skating party for our cousin Colton's 5th Birthday. She had a blast and didn't mind going out there and trying it. It was so cute seeing her out there with those little skates on. After the party we headed home to enjoy our new swimming pool. I even got pushed in with her. Guess Jeremy didn't like me spraying him with a water gun. Addy didn't have a nap all day Sunday so she went to sleep at 5:30 and slept for 13 hrs. I had to wake her up at 7:30 this morning. Skating wore her out.

Fun Day

Today was fun day at TLC! I helped with the kids this morning and they all had a blast. We started off eating donuts, then went to play in bubbles, water sprinklers, sand, the bounce house, face painting and snowcones!!! The kids all looked so cute dressed in the swimsuits running around playing. Addy loves to swim but for some reason her and Avyn would have nothing to do with the water. They enjoyed watching Court and Thomas play in. The snowcones and bounce house were a huge hit for all us. Ms Ashley, Ms Stephanie and myself enjoyed the bounce house as much as the kids did. Addy gave her teachers their end of year presents. Addy picked out everything all by herself.

Wonderful Wednesday!

Yesterday us parents at TLC gave the teachers a luncheon. Some of us made brought food and drinks. I made a fruit tray which I have never done before since I don't eat fruit. It turned out nice I would say. While the teachers enjoyed their lunch us parents got to set in on our child's classroom. It was nap time for Addy's class so I had it pretty easy. Of course all the kids were asleep but mine. Which it was really nice because I got to rock her to sleep and lay down with her. She finally went to sleep about an hour after everyone else did. We are so thankful to have such wonderful teachers at TLC to love and help our children learn. After I picked her up I went to get my hair cut off more thanks to Nycolle. We then headed to pick daddy up and head to Wal mart, McDonals and Braums for some ice cream! We had a blast yesterday afternoon.

TLC School Program!!

Tuesday night Addy had her first end of year school program at TLC. All the kids did so great singing there songs. Addy didn't sing because she was looking for us (we were hiding so she wouldn't come running) get up and raising her dress. Once she spotted Jeremy she still stayed up there and was so happy we were all there. We were blessed to have my parents and Jeremy's there to join this great event with us. They handed out certificates and flowers to all the children. They had a wonderful slide show of all the things the kids do at school and the fun they have. They served refeshments afterwards at the school so the kids could show off thier classroom. One thing funny on the wall they did was there is a book called What Do You See? So Ms Ashley went around and asked all the kids what do you see? It goes Addy Addy what do you see? Of course she said "Court" My child loves Courtlynn Maples.

we then treated Addy to dinner at Luigi's where she ate all the butter, salad, more butter, pie, more butter, etc that she could.

Monday night baseball!

This week has been full but we have had a blast. We started off Monday afternoon going to watch Cutter's baseball game. Addy loves going out getting popcorn and cheering on all the teams. WE had a girl afternoon because Jeremy and my dad went to play golf

Another great weekend

This weekend was great also. It was a week ago this past weekend when Addy had her last bottle. I know we waited a while to take her off of it but it was like the last baby thing for her. She broke herself from a paci at 6 weeks. Now we will start the potty training. Any good ideas on how to do this let me know. She also knows all of ABC's and can sing them all by herself. We started Friday night with dinner at Two Senoritas with my parents. We then went to the ball field to watch my little cousin play t ball. I can't wait for Addy to play. On Saturday morning Addy, my mom and I enjoyed a good breakfast at I-Hop and then went for some much needed pedi's. Addy almost fell asleep in the chair she was so relaxed. We came home and made Strawberry ice cream (Addy's choice). My parents cooked us hamburgers on Saturday and then we hit the golf course.Addy loves playing golf and finding balls.

Sunday we stayed home and relaxed most of the day. I cleaned while Jeremy and Addy played outside. Then we went to the Country Club for a little swim. We have such a busy week ahead of us. Addy will have her first end of school program Tuesday night at TLC. I can't believe my baby girl is growing so fast.
